Braj Gauri Trust Celebrated International Volunteers Day at Tata Memorial Hospital
Mumbai: On Monday, 5 December 2011, all the volunteers of Tata Memorial Hospital got together and celebrated the International Volunteer Day. To mark this day, Braj Gauri Trust called all the volunteers, first time, in the Tata Memorial Hospital along with all the staffs of Public Relation Department, to thank and acknowledge their contribution they made to the patients.
In the true spirit of volunteering, several volunteers of Tata Memorial Hospital are also told about their volunteer experiences.On this occasion, many of the volunteers also donated their blood to the patients.
Ms Sadhana Doshi, Ms Saroj Shah,Ms Shobha Doshi from V - Care, Mr N.B.Sontakke,G.S.C.T.,Mr Bhanjan Mohapatra,Sradha Foundation,Mrs Samita Swain,Mr Prakash Chandra Palai,JACAF,Mr Vaman Kadam,Jascop, Mr Ramshankar Yadav,Make a little Wish,Mr Pramod Sabnis,Sosava,Mr Rahul Salue, Vasant Memorial Trust,Mr A.V.Dsouja,Mr Francish, IND, Dr Bijaykumar Maharana,Mr Susanta Kumar Mohanty,Mr Pravakar Roulo, Braj Gauri Trust and many foreign volunteers are also came to join on this occasion.
Mr Dev Mohanty, Chairman and founder of Braj Gauri Trust, told, Service To Mankind Is Service To God, we, all should understand, its meaning and focus to serve with dedication to the cancer patients in their needy our.
The Sr Public Relation Officer, Tata Memorial Hospital, Mr S.H.Jafri & Asst. PRO, Mr Dilip Power praised the volunteers of BGT for organising this International Volunteers Day first time in the hospital. He also thanked all the volunteers in various organisations to make this programme a grand success.The day ended with distributing lunch hosted by BGT to everybody and to the patients.
I t was unanimously decided by the hospital management to celebrate the International Volunteers Day every year officially in Tata Memorial Hospital with the able support of Braj Gauri Trust.
